Dunraven Education Trust

What is being bought

Dunraven Educational Trust (‘the Trust’) is issuing this UK5 Transparency Notice in respect of the procurement for Social, Emotional and Mental Health Services following completion of a competitive procurement process conducted under the Competitive Flexible Procedure, internal reference CA18147. The tender was classified as a light-touch procurement in accordance with the applicable requirements of the Procurement Act 2023. Procurement documentation was made available to participating tenderers through the e-tendering portal MultiQuote, enabling access to the procurement information and submission of tenders. Following completion of the competitive procurement process, the Trust identified a successful tenderer in accordance with the published evaluation methodology and award criteria. The estimated value stated in the UK4 Tender Notice was below the applicable threshold and was a genuine estimate made in good faith, based on the Trust’s assessment of the anticipated contract requirement and historic contract expenditure. However, following evaluation and selection of the successful tender, the actual value of the proposed contract is above the applicable threshold. The Trust subsequently attempted to publish the required UK6 Contract Award Notice. However, the UK6 was not accepted for publication by Find a Tender due to the difference between the value stated in the original UK4 Tender Notice and the value of the successful award. The Trust’s procurement process has been conducted competitively and a robust evaluation process has been completed. The Trust intends to award the contract to the successful tenderer identified through the competitive procurement process. This UK5 Transparency Notice is being published to provide transparency regarding the circumstances described above and to provide notice of the Trust’s intention to enter into the proposed contract. The Trust will observe an 8 working day standstill period following publication of this Transparency Notice.
