Care and Wellbeing in Supported Living Services in Hillingdon

London Borough of Hillingdon

What is being bought

The London Borough of Hillingdon is pleased to invite current and prospective providers to attend a Provider Engagement Event as part of the recommissioning of its Care and Wellbeing in Supported Living Services. The Council intends to recommission these services to ensure future provision reflects current and projected demand, promotes independence and choice, and delivers positive outcomes for people requiring supported living services. The future model will support individuals to develop and maintain their skills, maximise their independence, and live fulfilling lives within their communities. As part of the pre-procurement phase, the Council is reviewing how supported living services can evolve to meet changing needs and aspirations. The recommissioning programme aims to establish a flexible, innovative, and sustainable service model that: • Promotes person-centred and strengths-based support. • Encourages independence, choice, and community inclusion. • Responds effectively to changing levels and types of demand. • Makes effective use of technology and innovative approaches to service delivery. • Aligns with current and emerging regulatory requirements. • Supports continuous improvement and collaboration across the sector. • Delivers good-quality services and value for money. The procurement is expected to establish long-term contractual arrangements for the delivery of care and wellbeing in supported living services. The scope and structure of the future service model are currently being developed and may include changes to service specifications, operating arrangements, and delivery models arising from the recommissioning review. This event will provide an opportunity for providers to: • Learn about the Council's vision and objectives for the future service model. • Understand the recommissioning programme and anticipated procurement approach. • Share feedback and insights to help shape future service delivery. • Discuss innovation, partnership working, and opportunities for continuous service development. • Engage directly with Council officers.
