The procurement was structured into five lots covering core and specialist carers support services. Lots 2 to 5 were awarded following the original procurement process. Lot 1 (Core Carers Service) was not awarded as part of the original procurement due to bidders failing to meet the minimum quality and social value thresholds. A separate re-procurement exercise was therefore undertaken for Lot 1 under the Open Procedure (Light Touch Regime). This notice relates solely to the award of Lot 1 (Core Carers Service) to Disability Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly. The contract has an estimated total value of £11,384,204 including extension options and is due to commence on 01 November 2026.
